Stencilling is a great way to get pattern where you want it. Stencilling also means being creative and achieving the look that you have in your mind as you can use what ever paint colours and combinations that you desire and also make different effects. (either with the way you apply the paint or the patterns and the way you repeat the stencil) We recently got these photos through from Kasia at PEMAartisans on Etsy. Kasia has done a fantastic job creating some off the wall and funky furniture using our Leopard print repeat pattern stencil

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

First the furniture has been painted gold and then Kasia has lined up the leopard print stencil to create an all over pattern painted in black. She has then used a brush to highlight some of the pattern using brown paint to really emulate the leopards colours.

You can use stencils to add motifs or patterns to furniture or any kind. Have a look around charity shops and car boots for pieces of furniture that you can repaint and inject new life into and finish it off and make it unique with stencils.

Have you ever used stencils on furniture? If so please share with us your project pictures and comments, we would love to hear from you.
