Hello, It has been so super busy at Ideal Stencils, that I have not have any time to spend on the blog…apologies.

We have had a massive web site face lift, making the new shop look 10 times better than it did. New banner designs have been added, new product ranges created and updated graphics make the site look SO much better, has been taking priority and has been well worth it! Our custom stencil cutting service which brings in many requests each day, has been growing in popularity and we love to get so many varied and interesting projects to work on.

I have got some plans for future stencilling blogs formulating in my mind. I have some brown packaging bags ready for a blog on stencilling your own packaging… ideal for businesses wanting to personalise their packaging with a stencilled logo or message… Also How to stencil your own lamp shade…so that’s all going to come… but for today I thought I would share some photo’s sent in from customers, so you can see what people have been getting up to and creating with their stencils..

World Map and vintage chair project

Stencilled Desk and chair project.

This cool little project shows what you can do with an old desk and chair and turn it into something new and fresh with stencils.  Our world map and Vintage stencils were used for this project. The paint was stippled through the stencil onto the surfaces. The desk was treated with a wood stain and then to protect the surface, varnish was added at the end.

We cut this tile stencil via our custom stencil cutting service… the pattern needed cutting at 9x9cm to fit the tiles. The customer freshened up the existing tiles and then hand painted all her tiles using the provided Moroccan design stencil… It was a long slog, but the rewards are there to see.
